Install Details: From an installation stand point the Clopay Gallery series is one of our favorites. This Clopay Gallery W/ Frosted Glass came with quiet flex hinges to help eliminate noise when the garage door is in motion. This specific pair of doors was ordered with high cycle springs ( average cycle life from manufactures and what most companies install for retrofit is 10,000 cycles) with over 25,000 cycles. Along with struts on every panel to further the strength of this already durable design.
When installing a door with a deep design in the sections our technicians will take additional time to make sure the designs line up nearly perfectly. Some door sections will come longer than others from the factor which can cause a problem when alignment is a huge factor in the end result but our experience team have always been able to work through obstacles and create a master piece for our clients here at Grease Monkey Garage Door.
Clopay Gallery doors and most of their insulated doors come with a very tall and narrow tongue and groove with helps strengthen the interlocking tongue and groove system. It also helps when installing because you can see each panel is properly seated where it needs to be.

The gallery series has the deepest embossment of the grille / bead panel style doors which amazing because on some doors once you add wood grain onto it the underlying design of the door is all but gone. In the case of this series of doors it enhances the underlying design.
There are four ULTRA GRAIN color options in this series: medium oak, dark oak, walnut, and slate. Stamping designs there are only two options, the option illustrated above is short panel and the other long panel. This door has a wide center style which is perfect for adding decorative hardware, if the center style was smaller like other doors all of the hardware would overlap into the stamping.
Summary: This Clopay Gallery W/ Frosted Glass will always be a go to for our company when it comes to giving customers options on their Spanish or traditional homes. Our technicians have not had any issues when installing these doors that would cause us to stop offering them. The R Value is as high as 18.4 in this series which dwarfs most comparable doors and they are quite a few options as far as design goes with color, stamping, hardware, and choice of glazing options.
